DESPERATE TIMES CALL FOR BOLD ACTIONS*
I firmly believe that we are reliving 1933 as we begin the run-up to another Holocaust. Oh, but I hear shouts of “Never Again!” “Never Again” is just an empty slogan unless it is accompanied by superhuman knowledge, and will, and leadership, and action to prove that we
really don’t want to repeat history.
Let’s recall some of our very recent history. The blueprint for the eradication of the Jews was well known for almost a decade. But why should anyone consider the rantings of a madman, a nobody? The Jews of Germany were “powerful”—they controlled many of the largest business in the land. These “powerful” businessmen and their Christian friends in business, government and the army would not permit such a rabble-rouser as Hitler
to come to power. And despite Hitler’s outspoken Jew-hate, a goodly number of these businessmen supported his election. He couldn’t mean what he was saying, and, in any case, he opposed Communism.
The Nazis came to power through the ballot box. A substantial number of Germans saw nothing wrong with the ideas Hitler ran on. Jew–hate reflected the feelings of most Germans. Despite the rose-colored glasses worn by too many German Jews, Hitler did mean what he said and wrote. He also promised to return the Germans to their “rightful place in the sun” and to past glory when they defeated France in 1870. Reminds one of the current Arab/Muslim dreams of returning to the past glory of the Caliphate. The Germans approached the world with a chip on their shoulders much like Arab/Muslims of today. The Arabs/Muslims also are not shy about proclaiming what the will do to Israel and the Jews if they get the opportunity. I believe them and everyone should believe them.
Hardly anyone was, or is, listening
The world, including most Jews, heard, but they didn’t listen. The world could have ended the Nazi problem, at no cost, before it even got started. But it didn’t. There was a total failure of leadership. The Nazi cancer, not only, was allowed to spread, but, among some influential persons, encouraged. Soon it was too late to prevent World War II and its accompanying loss of over 20 million lives and the destruction of large swaths of Europe. And without America’s intervention, all of Europe, Africa, and the Middle East would have been part of the Third Reich, the Nazi Empire.
Today, the cancer that is spreading throughout the world is Islam. In the 1930s, America thought that it could hide behind its oceans while American businessmen continued to do business with Nazi Germany. The political and business leaders of Europe thought that Hitler would not dare attack those bastions of capitalism and western civilization—England and France. The same attitude has been prevailing toward the Muslims since the end of World War II. Throw some dollars and Euros at them and they will become civilized. Ostrich thinking. At this point, the West is just barely beginning to appreciate that it will take a lot more than just a little prevention to cure the spreading cancer of Islam.
The Nazi cancer mutated to the Islamic cancer
The West has not as yet gotten out of bed after numerous wake-up calls—including two bombings of the World Trade Center, bombing of the Pentagon, bombings of our marines and embassy in Beirut, bombings of our embassies in East Africa, bombing of the Cole, bombings in London, Madrid, Moscow, Israel and murders in Munich-- about the real dangers of Islam. American and European businessmen are more interested in doing business with the Muslims than with safeguarding their countries. Even while America is suffering thousands of casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Bush Administration is finding underhanded ways to conduct business with terrorists and their supporters. The British, French, Italians and Russians are even worse.
The West is hell-bent for World War III, and you can bet that the United States will bear the brunt of the fighting and the casualties.
Here comes WWIII and the Jews are front and center again
The nation that suffered more than any other under the Nazis were the Jews—one third of the Jewish people were murdered. And sitting at the epicenter of the Arab/Islamic contagion is Israel with leaders that are doing everything in their power to make the State vulnerable to its murderous neighbors. While these neighbors are increasing the capabilities of their weapons, Israel is contracting its borders. Common sense, military wisdom, historical experience and listening to the threats from its neighbors all confirm that this policy is insane.
The American government continues to push this appeasement policy on Israel on behalf of its Arab friends. Just as the American Government pays lip service to its war on terrorism, it pays lip service to its rock-hard commitment to Israel. The American Government believes that it sincerely means both of these policies.
With leaders like the Israelis have, they don’t need enemies
The Israeli Government must act on its own to save itself—it cannot depend on the United States. Remember the Holocaust—six million were murdered before the remnant was saved. They must not let it happen again.
A forced uprooting of Jewish communities from Judea and Samaria must be prevented at all costs. The Jews in those areas must declare their separation from the State of Israel, pull all of their people out of the Israel Defense Forces and declare an independent state. Some may claim that this will be the start of a civil war. Make no mistake, a civil war is already in progress, but only one side is doing the fighting. However, I do not believe that such an action will occasion all-out conflict. The men and women who pull out of the armed forces plus their supporters inside the green line will prevent the military from action against the new state while protecting the existing state at the same time.
This “two-state solution” is not a novel idea. If you recall Jewish history, there were two Jewish states in the region in ancient times—Judea and Israel.
Following is a detailed plan for a “two-state solution” that I suggested a couple of years back:
AN ENDURING TWO-JEWISH-STATES-SOLUTION
A little over 100 years ago, a Jewish Hungarian by the name of Theodor Herzl, driven by an event of his day—the Dreyfus Trial—grabbed an idea that was actively being pursued by others and ran with it. The idea was the re-creation of a Jewish state in his day. Just about every Jewish leader—secular and religious—said that he was crazy. But Herzl correctly predicted that a Jewish state would be a reality in 50 years.
Herzl did not originate the idea, and he did not complete the process, but he had a powerful role in making it a reality.
Now, the events of our day—Arab/Muslim terror and fanaticism, the recrudescence of virulent Western/Christian Jew-hate and the attachment of many Jews to philosophies that are alien and dangerous to the welfare of the Jewish people—are motivating me to grab another noble idea and run with it.
I did not originate the idea. It has a history of thousands of years. I did not revive it. Several hundred thousand Jews are already implementing it. But I am promoting it in a fresh context based on requirements generated by current developments in the land of Israel.
A popular mantra among Israel’s many foes (including Jews) and few friends around the world is: “The Two State Solution.” It has a nice ring to it even though it is completely senseless as most people envision it. As the formulation stands today, its supporters are either ignorant of the negative impact it will have on the State of Israel, or have an agenda, which does not include the welfare of Israel, or places their personal goals above all else.
Show me the place where Arabs or other Muslims live in peace with their neighbors
Let us take a clear-eyed view of the situation in Israel and not a politically correct view bereft of any connection to history, logic or human nature. The cry of the supporters of a Two-State Solution is for an Arab state and a Jewish state in the land of Israel. Their passionate claim is that the Arabs living in the land of Israel deserve a state of their own.
The claim that all people should have a state of their own is a fallacy today, and has been a fallacy throughout history. Nobody but nobody is jumping up and down demanding that the world’s 15 million Kurds have a state of their own. This is particularly true of the Arabs and other Muslins who are demanding this right for the 2 million Arabs living in the land of Israel.
We might also ask, where are the humanitarian supporters of a state of their own for the Basques, the Irish Catholics in Northern Ireland, the Corsicans, the Sardinians, the Chechens, the Flemish, the Kashmiris, the Quebecois and even many northern Italians, among others?
Not everyone deserves or gets a state of their own
It is instructive to take a look at American history on the issue of whether every people deserved a state. We all know when the slaver South wanted to establish their own nation—the Confederate States of America--President Lincoln and the majority of the American people blocked it. Lincoln recognized that with their own state as a base, the slavers would redouble their efforts to spread their “peculiar institution” into the North, as well as into the West, which they were already trying to do. He knew that this evil practice would undermine the integrity of the American Republic.
A similar situation holds among the Arabs who live in Judea and Samaria and are the candidates for the Arab half of the Two-State Solution. In their case it is not possible to separate the sin from the sinner. They are an evil people who imbue hatred in their children and send them into the streets to be sacrificed in battle—much like the ancient Canaanite inhabitants of that land who sacrificed their children in the fires of their God, Moloch. They were driven from the land because even the ancients recognized that evil would undermine a free society.
The Arabs living in Judea and Samaria have no historical or legal connection to this land. Nor, based on their behavior, do they have moral right to establish a state of their own.
I am well aware that my description of the Arabs in Judea and Samaria will outrage many left-wingers, Jew haters and liberal Jews-- but their thinking is of the kind that finds excuses for the behavior of Arafat, Saddam, Stalin, Mao, Castro and just about every axe murderer on death row. We know the drill—there are no evil-doers, they are merely the victims of society. I believe that the people who see things as they are will triumph over those who imagine things as they would like them to be—and never will be.
Not everyone that “loves” the Arabs wants them as neighbors
While most Americans, Europeans and Israelis who are clamoring for another Arab state despite the evil record of its people, undoubtedly would have opposed the establishment of the slaver Confederacy in 1861. Does this indicate something perfidious about their agenda?
While the State of Israel controls Judea and Samaria at the present time, the Israeli Government does not appear to want to integrate this area into the state—which they have every historical and legal right to do. But there are over 250,000 people who live in Judea and Samaria who have a long and deep historical and religious connection to this land and could turn it into the second half of an enduring Two-State Solution.
Judea, the name of the Jewish commonwealth that was destroyed by the Romans could be an appropriate name for the new Jewish State. But I am sure that the Jewish residents are fully capable of selecting a name.
It may surprise critics of this idea but a Jewish state in Judea and Samaria will help end the Intafada. The presence of the Israel Defense Forces in this area is helping perpetuate the Intafada. For international political reasons, the IDF does not deliver a knockout blow to the Arab terrorists but merely administers pinpricks.
Without the IDF, the Jewish pioneers in Judea and Samaria will pacify the region within a month. Arab intransigents will quickly get the message that violence does not pay Those Arabs who do not like the message will be free to settle in Gaza or any other country in the Middle East.
Jews are always advised not to “rock the boat”
Critics—particularly Jews—are certain to opine: “why do we need two Jewish states?’ I’ll wager that not one of these people ever asks “why do we need 21 Arab states—or more to the point 22 Arab states?’
We also need two Jewish states because it’s nice to know that while they won’t always see eye to eye (after all they are Jewish states), they won’t be sending terrorist bombers to each other’s schools, cafes and homes.
While the current Jewish population of the proposed state of Judea is a quarter of a million, I predict that within one or two years it will double with immigration from the State of Israel, as well as from as from overseas Jewish communities. However, it is already more populous than some nations that have joined the UN.
Obviously, the proposed state will have to overcome the problems associated with a beginning—problems of infrastructure and finance. But the combination of Jewish energy and capabilities plus the assistance of members of the Jewish worldwide community and the Christian community who have an attachment to the land where our forefathers lived will help launch this new state.
History shows that impossible dreams do become reality
I know that my idea will be labeled as an impossible dream by some and a nightmare by others but I firmly believe, that it can become a reality just as Herzl’s dream became a reality—and, I expect, that my “dream” will be fulfilled in much, much less than 50 years.
While a number of other proposals have recently been introduced on how to realign the land of Israel to achieve peace, my Two-State Jewish Solution is the only one that does not require the participation and pressure of sometimes friends and oft-times foes. This process puts the future of the Jewish people in its own hands.
I call for people of good will from all nations and all faiths to help establish peace in the land of Israel and carry out this noble enterprise which will help restore a people to their God-given homeland.
THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES ISSUE
I would like honest public answers from the Bush Administration on the following questions so that our legislators and ordinary citizens can make a knowledgeable decision on the port management issue:
Are the same type of anti-American, anti-Israel and anti-Western sermons being preached from in the mosques of the UAE as in the mosques in Saudi Arabia and Egypt?
How much money is flowing each month from the citizens/residents of the UAE to al Qaeda?
When will the U. S. Government recognize that our conflict with the Arabs/Islam is not an economic problem?
Why didn’t Secretary of the Treasury, John Snow recuse himself from participating in the ports decision because of a conflict of interest?
EL AL FLIGHT –MID-DECEMBER—LANDING IN TEL AVIV
As the El Al plane taxies towards the terminal at Ben-Gurion airport, the voice of the captain came on.
"Please remain seated with your seat belts fastened until this plane is at a complete stop at the gate and the seat belt signs have been turned off.

We need to raise taxes, have a paint and weed day and make this happier, healthier street that would discourage such behavior.
This is all so confusing! I need to debate this with some friends for few days and try to come to a consensus.
