The Minyan at Loon Mountain.

The
Minyan in Lincoln, NH meets during the summer
in the deli at the Mountain Club in Lincoln, NH
. This year again, the
minyan is renting space at the Mountain Club in
Lincoln. The minyan will start on Shabbat
Parshat Korach (June 24/25) and will continue through
Labor Day (September 5). The minyan happens each
summer at the Loon Mountain vacation resort.
This is not a year-round community. It does not have any
formal ownership or leadership. The
minyan has a collection of sefarim, an aron, and
a sefer Torah that is loaned to the minyan by
the Chabad
Center of Sharon, MA. Generally,
there is a minyan every weekday and Shabbat
during the season. However, there is no guarantee. The
deli is rented from Loon Mountain. To cover the
cost of the rental there is a required fee of
$15 per family. Checks can be
made out to Loon Mountain. There is a place to
leave checks in the minyan room. |
